The Eight Spokes

I'm asked a lot from the group, "What is the next Topic?" and "How do you choose?"

I am conducting the meet ups as a cycle, or wheel if you will. There are 8 spokes to the wheel. These spokes are:

1) Newbie's Night

2) Ear Training - Follow the Director

3) De-constructing Your Script

4) Read Only Night

5) All Technical

*  Newbie's Night (depending on the number of new members)

6) Animation Plus

7) Trifecta! Tech - Read - Record!

8) Learn the Fine Art of Cross Reading

Since the group is continually growing, I will throw in a Newbie's night in the middle of the cycle.  Although the cycle can begin anywhere, I chose the order because it may seem less daunting and one blends nicely into the next. If you are a new member, I strongly recommend you begin with one of the Newbie's Nights.

See ya there!

Why join? For the same reason I did... to determine if it is feasible and realistic for me to get into this vocation.

Awesome and straight forward which is the kind of "boot in the butt" we newbies need if we are serious.
Rick Keeling

Everyone is really warm and friendly. Cliff is great. Yay team!
Minh Do

Cliff gave plenty of constructive criticisms, in a non-Simon Cowell way :) He was very kind, detailed, humorous, and even gave examples. It was fun watching everyone read and I really learned a lot.
Amy B.

Great source of information about voice acting. Excellent course lay out & a refreshing approach to learning about the world of VO.
Victor Carter

Good people, great instructor, loads of fun. There. That's this Meet-up Group in a nutshell.
David

This was the most informative and interesting meet-up I have been to. I learned so much and got even more interested in VO than I was when I came. Cliff is an excellent leader and teacher and I look forward to being very active in this group.
